The only Kubotan school official in Mexico was formed in 2004 in the State of Nuevo Leon, belonging to the great family of the IKA and under the command of Tomas Miledi, a native of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, who had their first experience Kubota with under the tutelage of an instructor from Pasadena, Ca USA.
His great interest in their extreme persistence wurh the Kubotan, draw the attention of Grand Master Takayuki Kubota (Kubotan's inventor) who adopted him as a disciple, perfecting the art and recognized as the first Mexican Kubota Instructor.

Since opening, the primary objective of Ika Kubota Mexico has been promoting the teaching of traditional Kubota, which has achieved great success within the security forces, public and private, martial artists, and the general public in Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
As a member of the IKA and fellow instructor, Tomas Miledi was present on the opening day of the Ika Kubota Spain, and also on Soke´s first visit.
