School founded in 2007, led by José Tomás Alcaide and Pedro Tamayo, from Elche (Alicante - Spain), both with years of experience in various martial arts in addition to his police career with the same feeling about the tool Kubotan.
Both had their first experience with the kubotan, with long time mexican instructor Tomas Miledi, direct student of Grand Master Takayuki Kubota (Kubotan´s inventor). Both worked hard to seek instructor´s mastery in the art of the kubotan.
Being recognized by Soke as the first and only official Original Kubotan Instructors in Spain nowdays.

Authorized to carry the name of the IKA and spread the teachings of the original Kubotan in the wolrd, being included in the small elite group of kubotan instructors from the International Karate Assocation.
IKA KUBOTA SPAIN instructors, wuth the will to preserve the teachings of Soke Takayuki Kubota, regarding the Kubotan techniques, created the "Spanish Kubotan Association".
In addition to the this, both are the organizers of Grand Master´s first visit to Spain, in which Soke placed their trust in the Spanish instructors to continue the development of the IKA in Spain.
Not just the kubotan but in a future, teach Soke´s unique martial arts, as kubojitsu, kubotactical and Gosoku Ryu

At the IKA KUBOTA SPAIN we seek to disseminate the message and teachings of Soke, perfection in martial arts is to look for, but never achieved, only Grand Master Kubota after 70 years of training came close to perfection, thats why we work hard every day to improve and perfect our art, to convey to all who wish our knowledge.
